@avenuepb ). For decades, D.I.E. (aka DJ Maaco) has been carrying the torch for real Detroit electro, keeping the city’s underground sound alive with raw energy and deep funk. Raised on the legacy of Detroit’s pioneers, he built his own lane—crafting stripped-back, bass-heavy tracks that hit hard in the clubs and tell the story of the city’s streets. With anthems like “The Men You’ll Never See” and “R U Married,” his music has traveled from Detroit basements to dancefloors worldwide, influencing a new wave of electroheads along the way. No gimmicks, no trends—just pure, unfiltered D.I.E.
Joining him is visionary DJ
@jake_mora , who has been revolutionizing the Southern California electronic music scene since 2019. As the co-founder of
@yoonfest , an annual festival showcasing global talent and emerging artists, Mora has cemented his reputation as a tastemaker and community builder. His sets fuse raw psychedelic house beats with early 2000s grooves, blending classics with underground sounds that have captivated audiences across premier venues.
San Diego native
@julianortega77 , a key figure in California’s underground dance music scene, also joins the lineup. Known for crafting 90’s style dance tracks influenced by early house, tech house, garage, and UKG, Ortega delivers unique sets that traverse genres, captivating dance floors with stripped-back beats and cosmic sounds.
Opening the night is Phonetik, the dynamic duo of DJs
@a.mzel and
@parttimetoughguy (PTTG). Their collaborative groove-centric synergy brings a mixture of electro, hard house, and groove techno making for a danceable experience. With a shared passion for innovative techniques and sounds and seamless blends, you’re not going to want to miss Phonetik’s debut.
