🇵🇪 PERÚ BICENTENARIO, ¡FELIZ 28 DE JULIO! 🇵🇪
Para celebrar 200 años de nuestra independencia, decidí traer de regreso la misteriosa elegancia de la tapada. Trabajé junto a un equipo de extraordinario talento y amor por el Perú. Soledad Mujica y Chiara Macchiavello lideraron la investigación de trajes y personajes. Chiara creó todas las prendas partiendo de los dibujos de Pancho Fierro y de otros documentos de la época, y trabajando con artesanos de diferentes regiones para lucir riqueza textil peruana.

¡HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, PERU!
To celebrate 200 years of our independence, I decided to bring back the mysterious elegance of the ‘tapada’. I worked alongside a team of extraordinary talent and great love for Peru. Soledad Mujica and Chiara Macchiavello led the investigation of costumes and characters. Chiara created all the garments based on Pancho Fierro's drawings and other documents of the time, and worked with artisans from different regions to show off Peru’s textile heritage.
