Cheeky mid-project block for my #PierreDress because I just had to see how those lace stitches bloom (aka I’m impatient 🫣) and I am sooo happy with how it’s looking so far!
I’ve still got a way to go and she is definitely not a quick or mindless knit, so we’ll see if I manage to finish by July so I can hopefully wear it on my Bali trip🤞🏼☀️

Had the best day at the @yarravalleywoolcraftshow on Sunday! Huge congrats to the organisers and stallholders for putting on such a great event as usual despite the weather! A little (or even a lot of) rain will never stop us yarnies lol 🤭🌧️🧶
Also paid a visit to @mountain_ash_yarnery which was a delight! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever up in the Dandenong ranges (which is particularly beautiful atm 🍂) as it’s truly such a gem!

Feels so good to have finally finished this one 😌 I worked on it on and off for about 4 months, which is definitely longer than I would usually like to spend on a project, but sometimes that’s just how the cookie crumbles (aka I got bored of body/stockinette island and prioritised summer knits because it was..welll…summer)🍪 Absolutely living for the drape of this fabric though and I can’t wait to lounge around in it all autumn/winter long! ☕️🍂

The pre-post blocking transformation when a project has bust darts is MAJOR 😍
Absolutely loved knitting up the #9pmTank by @tiffknit as my last hurrah before summer ended, but sadly Melbourne hasn’t quite pulled through with the warm weather long enough for me to wear it this season 🙃
Genuinely though this pattern is awesome! It’s fully made to measure with bust + waist shaping and I can attest that the fit is sublime✨ Fingers crossed I’ll find myself somewhere warmer come July and she’ll get her proper debut 🙏☀️

I’m going to be knitting the #PierreDress by @kolibri.by_johanna which is a stunning all over lace design and I’m so up for the challenge! It’s been so long since I knit such an involved lace pattern so I’m really excited about this one and can’t wait to cast on! Definitely going to need to put several lifelines in though to be safe 🫣
