An updated view of the living room in our Bryn Mawr project, now layered with additional artwork and collected pieces that further deepen the character of the space.
From the beginning, the intention was to work gently with the house… bringing the clients’ collection of furniture, fine and decorative arts, and books into dialogue with the architecture while making as few architectural changes as possible.
Over time, the rooms have settled naturally, shaped less by decoration than by the quiet accumulation of objects with meaning, history, and presence.

There’s a different feeling when something is made specifically for the home it will live in.
This custom dining table built by @todvonmertens pairs oxidized solid oak with softened elliptical edges and sculptural conical legs, giving the piece weight and presence while still feeling relaxed and easy in the room.

The kitchen at Chestnut Hill Residence pairs flat-cut walnut cabinetry with striking Aurora Blue marble from @addesso_mgw , alongside dual islands and faucets that bring both symmetry and ease to everyday living.
Tucked behind one island, a curved banquette introduces a softer moment within the kitchen’s tailored geometry… cozy seating with built-in storage designed for gathering, lingering, and daily life.
