Grandma, I’m sad that you are no longer here. I’m sad that I won’t be able to hold your hand anymore when you would remind me how cold your hands get even in the Arizona heat. I’ll miss the way you would fondly scold with a little slap on the hand. I’ll miss the way she always spoke her mind.
I’ll miss the way you loved grandpa. I’ll miss the way you loved me. I’ll miss the way you loved our family. I’ll miss you for always wanting the best for me and reminded me of what is important in life.
I’ll miss the Sunday lunches, the golf, the time in the mountains. I’ll miss our conversations. I’ll miss praying with you, singing with you.
However, I am so happy that you are in heaven. That you are free from the bounds of this earthly plane in a place without pain with Grandpa who you love so much. I can’t wait to see you both again and pick up where we left off. You mean so much to me.
