“All The World Is Bright” is out today! I was asked to play this song at a wedding one weekend and at a funeral on the next. I’m proud to share this song of hope with you guys right in the dead of winter. I had the joy of recording this song with @jacobearly in his studio outside Charlotte. Who doesn’t love an alternative album cover? Sacred Vows Credits: Produced and engineered by the legend himself, Mr. @jacobearly It’s simple. I’m living my best life making music because I am making it with Jacob. I’m convinced I’m doing the most compelling work I’ve ever done because of his direction and focus. It also helps that we share the exact same value system when it comes to making art. Mixed by @chadwahlbrink Listen. I hate to let the cat out of the bag because I feel like Chad is about to become everyone’s go to mix engineer. He took these songs to a place that me and Jacob were absolutely stunned by. We would get a mix back and Jacob and I would call each other and say things like “Gosh we are such geniuses” and “This mix is about to make us legends” with tears streaming down our faces with happiness. Haha. Seriously. Chad absolutely brought these songs to the Promised Land for us and I am so thankful for him. What can I say about @ethannathaniel ? He’s been playing drums for me since Poet Priest but his incredible musicianship is the architecture of Miracle Service and Sacred Vows. Keys, guitars and drums are all performed by my little baby brother Ethan. I love him and love his playing. Sacred Vows is mastered by my good friend @everetthardinmastering . Mastering is the final step in the process but it is incredibly important and Everett did an incredible job helping us realize the ultimate sonic vision of Sacred Vows. YOU GUYS! You know that baller acoustic rhythm guitar on BAD DECISIONS? That’s me. Yes, I can play guitar. After I grow old I am going to pivot and become a visual artist because in my heart of hearts, painters and graphic designers and art directors are the people I look up to the most. I feel so drawn to visual art. I realize I am probably repeating myself but I am obsessed with @erichurtgen ‘s work and I always feel so honored that he continues to be willing to work with me on my albums. Anticipating an email with a Dropbox file from Eric is the most fun part of an album release and the most difficult problem is choosing the cover because I honestly love them all. Andy Squyres EP Sacred Vows is out, produced by me. Working with Andy is always a riot. It’s equal parts oh my gosh we have got to get this done, and also wanting to create something compelling. I was in the mountains of NC working on the last two songs while also in the morning and evening running sound for a youth camp. I shut myself away in my room all day. Which had no cell service or wifi 🥴 couldn’t constantly check Tik Tok which I think was helpful probably. But I was having a moment working on Utah By Tomorrow where all the doubts about my life and all the little things I’m worried about went away. It was like the heavens opened up and God was speaking straight to my heart. The bridge hits on Utah and I could feel God’s goodness and love over me. We did end up hitting our deadline but that was a special moment for sure. Working with @andysquyres is a dream come true and I love getting to do this with him. Shoutout to @chadwahlbrink for putting his heart into these mixes and taking them to the next level. He always goes above and beyond. Thanks to @everetthardinmastering for mastering and @ethannathaniel for his incredible musicianship across the EP. @amyearly_ and Luna Early with background vocals on There’s No Way That I Can Love You Any More, and @soundofsolis for keys on Bad Decisions.

Miracle Service EP by @andysquyres is out today, produced by me. We’re best friends in real life, but this is our first time working this closely and extensively. I’d joke that he’s paying me to hang out. We’d drink coffee at our kitchen island and solve all the world’s problems. There’s no one like Andy, and I’m cherishing this chance to collaborate. Shoutout to @ethannathaniel for his incredible musicianship and always going above and beyond, @chadwahlbrink for his stunning mixes, and @everetthardinmastering for bringing it all together with the master.

@ethannathaniel has a new single out and I got to mix it! Ethan and I have collaborated on a lot of songs for other artists, so working on our own music together has been a highlight over the past few years. His songs always have so much vibe and heart. Grateful to have helped him get these songs over the finish line. This new one does not disappoint. 🥂
