I will talk about yesterday for the rest of my life. The unity, joy, and outpouring of love that was felt is hard to put into words, but I know I’ve never been prouder to call Chicago home.
We’re not finished yet. There’s still more work to be done. Check in on your black friends. Keep signing petitions. Keep calling state legislature and sign up to vote. Keep having those hard conversations. Keep showing up. Black lives mattered yesterday, they matter today, AND THEY MATTER FOREVER.

spent part of the day shooting in an abandoned chicago public school - when we die of mesothelioma from the asbestos in 10 years, at least I’ll have these 3 photos to show for it.
it’s hard to feel professional and get good shots when 10+ kids come up to you and say “you look like that scary fish from finding nemo.” but you know what? I’m not even mad about it.
