For three seasons on the hit Hulu young-adult drama series 'Tell Me Lies' (@tellmelieshulu ), the 29-year-old actors have become the face of the ultimate toxic romance between their characters Lucy and Stephen, playing out a vicious cycle of mutually assured destruction. But IRL, the actors’ real-life partnership is one of affection and balance. "We’re so comfortable with each other, and I couldn’t imagine doing this with anybody else," says Van Patten of the unique challenge of portraying a relationship so starkly different from their own.
