After three months of intensive work by the Awards team, we are pleased to confirm that judging for this year’s Watersprite Awards is now complete.
A huge thank you to our juries and their insightful discussions, and our Awards team for the care, time, and rigour they brought to this process.
Here's the one time we got it right, followed by all the times we got it wrong.
For the upcoming @goldenhell.game , @dcarrington_creative and I have written a series of piano duets lousy with feel-changes and far, far too many notes. Here's us trying desperately to make it all the way through the bridge in one take, and every failed attempt in between.

A lovely extra surprise was winning the Original Film Music Award for @lyndonhenleyhanrahan film Mist of Desires. Not only a spectacular honour to be submitted, let alone nominated, let alone having won -- but such a delight to work on such a fun, campy, beautifully shot and secretly deeply hilarious film.

I laughed! I cried! I waved a stick around!
A very wonderful dream came true this past Monday when my fellow @nftsfilmtv composers and I took a trip to AIR Studios in London to record some cues for string quintet. Not only was it a delight to watch these incredible people work, but to lead a session and conduct musicians playing my music(!) to picture made little 10-year-old filmmaker Jack very, very happy. We did it, buddy!

Suffice to say, I miss this piano. With Rocky Horror at @stirlingfestivaltheatre on hiatus until the end of August, I can only dream of this beautiful Bösendorfer until then.
