I am so honored and privileged to FINALLY announce I have signed to @blocla !! *Long post below* ⬇️⬇️ I was 16 when I really knew that professional dance was what I wanted to pursue as an adult. I was 17 when I found out that most of the dancers I looked up to then and even today were/are signed to @blocla it was then my goal to be signed by them too. The moment I booked that meeting… 7 years of hard work came full circle and hit me. I felt motivated, relieved, and grateful that such a milestone happened not even 5 months into me living in LA. To my dance families back home in Wisconsin, thank you so much for molding me and shaping me into the dancer, man, and person I am today. Thank you @bellaviadancestudio for sending me off to LA and always being there for support. The biggest thank you, however, to @powerofdancegb my mom and my aunt’s studio. I spent my first 12 years of dance there, from learning how to count music, to becoming a diverse dancer capable of performing many styles and techniques. I will never forget where I started and came from. Thank you to those who’ve supported me in my journey giving me kind words, advice, and encouragement… (to name a few) @jasper_sanchez @dvtboinvte @bmadboss @monyettc @kolaniemarks @1triciamiranda @aaronquini @mightymykell No matter how long or short I’ve known you, each of you has helped me grow in a different way shaping me into the dancer and person I am now. Last but certainly not least, I have to thank my family. I’ve been fortunate to have the utmost support with my dance career from my family. My parents, grandparents, and siblings constantly check on me hoping I’ve gotten new jobs, new opportunities, or met cool people. They’ve supported me financially (dance is expensive asf 😬😬), but more importantly mentally and emotionally. I miss you everyday, and I hope to be home soon. To my @blocla fam, thank you for seeing something in me. I’m beyond excited and anxious to get started, and get to work! Man… it’s good to be back. After going home for Christmas I feel rejuvenated, repurposed, and I’ve relit the spark inside me. I’m dancing different because my mental has been taken care of.
