Alright fine, you guys were right, making the chair fold was worth it. I partnered with @veteransunited on this build to create something useful for a local veteran’s new home, and these folding Adirondack chairs felt like the perfect fit. I needed to separate my shop bathroom from my kitchen, so I did that with @metabohpt by building a wall and installing a pocket door with their line of cordless tools #MetaboHPTAmbassador. First I had to install a wall to subdivide the space with their cordless circular saw and framing nailer, and then I installed a pocket door frame kit in the wall with their cordless drill and impact driver. Heated Rivalry on ice returns for 2026, the 3rd annual charity maker hockey game, made possible by @carolinashoe and @totalboat , the 2 teams battling for the totally real and not at all counterfeit, wooden Stanley Cup. Two talented teams of makers leave their saws and welders behind and try to remember how to play hockey for the day.

Maker Hockey is back this year!! Just over a month away on May 3rd on Cape Cod, MA. Last year I premiered my wooden Stanley Cup, the year before that was this homemade 9 foot long hockey stick, this year… you’ll have to wait to see.
I have enough players signed up already, but I’m really looking for more spectators. Let’s fill those stands for some of the worst, but most fun hockey you’ve ever seen! I redesigned my Adirondack Chair from the ground up and built a folding version with @MetaboHPT and their line of cordless tools #MetaboHPTAmbassador. This started with some templates traced onto my white oak boards, and the parts are cut to size using the Metabo HPT Rear Handle Circular Saw, Jigsaw, and Miter Saw. The chair is assembled with a dueling pair, Metabo HPT’s drill and impact driver.
