15 years after dropping out of music school, I’m officially heading back to University! This time to study creative audio production and sound engineering at Catalyst Institute in Berlin.

It reminded me that love is a gift to be shared. That time is a tempo rubato, ever slowing and accelerating. That singing and dancing with kith and kin is the whole point.

Saying goodbye to LA for a few months. Roadtripping across the states before I fly to Europe to visit friends and explore some new cities. As I pack up my things, I am feeling so grateful for these years in the sun.

Just over a year since I began releasing music 🤍
I wanted to say thank you for following along, listening, and supporting.
Right now people are consuming an unprecedented amount of art and entertainment. I read that more music is released in a single day than the total amount released in 1989. Sometimes it feels absurd, actually. Just adding to a lot of noise.
But there is something really special about connecting with a friend, acquaintance, or stranger through my writing. Whether the song is about a break up or eating ass. Every stream/ message/ donation has kept me going and it means the world. Thank you, thank you. I am so excited to expand on my body of work and as an artist. I’m hoping to play live more in the coming years because the best part of making music is the connection that happens when it’s shared. So hope to see you on the road 🤍

When I got sober I was so afraid of who I had become, and even more fearful to be seen as that version of myself.
Now I’m confronting this strange, ironic truth that part of me fears many don’t know that version of me. I’ve moved to a city where I’ve never had a drink. The community I’ve built here have no idea how good I am at rolling a joint, or my champion level beer pong skills. I’ve become the coworker who meal preps on Sundays. The friend who’s good to drive you home. I come home to a bed that’s made.
It’s silly because this was my biggest prayer 8 years ago. To meet this version of myself.
I wouldn’t have made it without the family and friends who stuck by me in my darkest times. They continue to be the ones introducing me to what I am capable of. The champions of my dreams. All my thanks will never be enough.
It is now my biggest gift to be seen. I’m thankful for the journey. If you’ve made it this far you’re a real one. Have something sweet and celebrate life with me today 🤍
