#HomewardDawn also premiered at @idyllwildcinemafest over the weekend and closed out the festival being the last film shown. Homeward Dawn won best actor in a featurette thanks to the incredible performance of jasonkelley.jk, the vanguard awards for best ensemble cast in a featurette, and also the vanguard award for costume design in a featurette thanks to the incredible work of @costumesjulia . Here is the trailer for Ripple! It premiered at @idyllwildcinemafest over the weekend and was nominated for best original score thanks to the incredible work of @gpnicolett , and also won the van guard award for cinematography in a short film thanks to @mica_komagata_dp . This film is an exercise in building suspense, and as a Hitchcock lover, I love it!
My body has been pretty angry with me and to be honest I’ve been pushing my mind and body to the limits lately with Production Innovation at Disney, then producing many projects independently in my non-9-5 hrs, family life, trying (failing) to keep up with invisible work at home, and training 10 hrs a week as an endurance athlete. It’s not sustainable and I’m feeling it right now, but it’s worth it when opportunities like live pitching at @marchedufilm arise. Here we are- French Riviera - coming for you in a few weeks!
