I loved experimenting with a format that blends personal narration with more traditional documentary storytelling. This is the kind of work I want to make more of going forward, not being the centre of the story, but the conduit to it.

This episode is all about my time with the Sami people, an indigenous community who've herded reindeer across the Arctic for thousands of years. Our week together felt like a strange dream: fishing, hunting, traditional saunas and cold water swimming, all under the glare of the northern lights.

Travelling with a dog can be difficult, and sadly during my long van trip over summer, I had to leave Lyla behind because she couldn’t get the right vaccines in time. It honestly broke my heart. 💔
So earlier this month we finally got away together, No social media, no distractions - just the two of us in a romantic cabin for a weekend ☺️
