My addition to the Elmhurst Sculpture Garden :)
Organized by @yvonne_shortt the @elmhurstsculpturegarden was awarded a grant for new sculptures this year. The site is near a parking lot, so I decided to arrange a group of parking blocks that look as though they have lost their rigidity and tossed in the yard or blown around by the wind.

New work for the grand opening of @liveoakcharleston , a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by @marriottintl . This large-scale installation is seamlessly integrated into the lobby wall, creating the illusion of organic growth emerging from within. What do you think!?
Jack Henry Remnants
Opening February 21st
Visit is pleased to present Remnants, our first exhibition with New York–based artist Jack Henry @jackbhenry (b. 1984), whose work examines environmental change through post-industrial landscapes and discarded materials.
Remnants brings together drawings and assemblage sculptures focused on the overlooked, in-between spaces of the urban landscape: empty lots, medians, and fenced-off peripheries of daily life.
Despite their marginal status, these sites hold a quiet resilience—plants growing through concrete, trash, and infrastructure, untamed and unmanicured. In the city, this is the closest we come to witnessing true wilderness: nature acting without permission.
Together, the drawings and sculptures frame these peripheral spaces as sites of both neglect and resistance, suggesting that what we discard or ignore may be where life continues most honestly.
Jack Henry’s “Reserved” has been installed. Looking forward to Upstate Art Weekend. @upstateartweekend@jackbhenry@bravinlee

Upstate Art Weekend opens July 17. “Threshold Cornwall” presented by @cornwallchamberofcommerce and curated by BravinLee includes work by Jack Henry @jackbhenry
“My work explores the state of the environment by using found objects collected from the street, employing materials like bronze, resin, cement, and steel to preserve the likeness of organic matter and detritus. As an unwilling, but active participant in consumerism, I can’t make a moral statement against the forces of industry. Rather, I want my work to highlight the sublimity that remains within this altered landscape. By focusing on often ignored objects and spaces I am prompting viewers to reconsider their local environment, compelling them to reconcile the tension between their environmental values and the pervasive consumerism inherent in modern society.
Ultimately, I want my work to stimulate contemplation, foster awareness, and inspire a collective dialogue about progress, consumerism, and our shared responsibility to safeguard the planet we inhabit.”
