Hi! I have a long overdue announcement: I’ve started my own photography business!
After four great years with Team @scott_wiener , it was time for a different challenge, and I really wanted to focus on this pure creative pursuit. I’ve taken this new journey slow so far, but it’s time to start cooking.

Ploverfest! Incredible day with @sunsetdunespark , shout out to all the volunteers! Saw so many amazing artists… I’m now officially a @peabooandthecatz stan.
We packed up the boards and went to Arizona for some perfect tubes! This was my first time surfing a wave pool and it took a bit to adjust, as you’re less buoyant in fresh water and there’s a bit less momentum on an artificial wave. Once you get the hang of it though, it’s much more consistent than the ocean, making progression so much quicker.
I’d recommend @revelsurfparks to anyone! The VLand barrel is an incredible wave. The staff was so cool to us — shoutout Uncle Eric. And it’s much warmer and sunnier than a surf at home. Thanks for hosting Ian’s Last Ride!

I tend to brand myself on social media as an outdoors photographer — mostly because the algorithm prefers you to focus on a niche — but the truth is I spend just as much time taking pictures of people as I do trying to shoot waves and sunsets.
These are just a few recent moments that I was lucky enough to be a part of. Whether it’s an engagement shoot or a swearing in ceremony, it means the world that someone trusts me to capture their moment, big or small.
