GINGER WINGS AT THE FAT DUCK 🦆 🍗 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
This is a bit of a personal and special one…
When we get asked by the legends at the Fat Duck if we could cater their staff party for the 30th Anniversary, obviously we said yes (or I would have been grounded)
I have amazing memories of being part of a lot of their staff parties over the years and met so many people who have walked through the fat duck doors who have gone onto do great things.
I worked there for a while, and I loved it, but because it was Dads, an inspiration, every day I saw what he achieved, and how he made people feel just by being him. I’m an incredibly proud son, but I struggled as I needed to find my identity.. and not carry his.
Ginger Wings wasn’t planned, there were no pre meetings and blueprints. It was very much a fuck it let’s give it a go!
And so far! (Touch wood) it’s been fucking incredible.
The Fat Duck and my old man always taught me to never be afraid of failure. And without that.. I wouldn’t have found my identity.
