Some fun previs vs. final shots for our @timelessfrenchlick Campaign. This one was interesting as I was out of town visiting my wife’s family… and would be flying back in the night before the shoot. Nothing like running a set on a solid 2 hours of sleep.
Luckily - we had most of the spots (3!) conceptualized out shot for shot. Pair a good scout a week to two prior with the magic of modern apps like @cadrageapp , and bingo bango bongo, I can shoot the whole thing in the back lawn. Thanks to wifey @sydney.linderman and brother-in-law Crosby for being my talent.

Director Spotlight: @sam_markproductions “Companies forget they aren’t the hero of the stories they tell. Their client is the hero. That’s why it’s so important to sell the client’s ‘why’ not the ‘what’ or the ‘how’ of a product, process, or price point. Here, the client’s why is falling in love and growing old together, while the magic of their relationship stays strong. All the while being kept comfortable with their HVAC system. When you follow the hero’s journey for your client and sell the why, weaving a product in is a tasteful and elegant process.”

Director Spotlight: @sam_markproductions “The moments we remember most are the ones spent with those we love. They don’t have to be happy moments or defining moments... sometimes it’s the little things. The quirkiness, the shared misery, or the friendly competition that you look back on the fondest. Vividly painting a picture of some of those ‘in between’ moments is what these two spots were about.” Shot by @jack.linderman
Saw @kbowersock rollerblading backwards with an Amira once.
@dominicespinoza_ , full sprint, carrying a jib arm like he’s anchoring a relay.
Every shoot I catch someone doing something I didn’t even know was physically possible.
And somehow, it works. Every time! Or maybe most times 😅
Honestly, might be my favorite part of this job.
Happy 24th to my love & my wife @sydney.linderman . You are strong yet tender, intelligent yet relatable, determined yet caring. You inspire me, grow me, and love me every day. I am proud to call you my wife and you mean nothing short of the world to me. I love you.
This is always a fun time of year for me, having my birthday and New Year’s Eve fall on the same day. Looking out to a brighter, better year - older and wiser, but refreshed and renewed.
If I could bottle up the energy into a vial and put a label on it, it would read one word - disruption.
I am no longer doing things for the sake of doing them. I am doing them with an active, focused goal energized by my family, my people, and Jesus. 23 is the year where I am determined to live for the purpose in which I was created, to be a better husband, friend, son, and child of God. Good things have happened this year, as have bad things. Through it all, I feel as if there’s a part of me that was asleep at the wheel.
It’s now or never, and I am ready to shake things up.
