I'm so excited to announce that I have been selected as a participant in the 2023 @NFL Women's Forum at Combine in Indianapolis. This program connects women in college football to networking opportunities for their careers in scouting, coaching and football operations with leaders in the NFL. As I explore a career path in sports, I cannot wait to see where this program will take me, and have the opportunity to continue to grow and learn at the Forum! #FutureOfFootball
Nine new Bison commit and the bridge behind the process is Janice Pettyjohn.
In 2022, Janice made history as the first woman hired full-time by Howard University Football. Today, she leads as Director of Player Personnel & On-Campus Recruiting, helping guide the process that brought nine new student-athletes home to The Mecca.
Janice shared what this class means to her:
“This class represents the work of an entire village — coaches, staff, and our players. I’m incredibly proud of this recruiting class. Every one of these young men trusted our vision and chose to build their future here at Howard. Their stories, their families, and their belief in what we’re building mean everything. This group is special.”
