Throw & Flow was my first event built around two things that keep me centered & grounded: pottery and community. Happy 10th Birthday, Chloe. I can’t believe it’s been a full decade. Ten whole years since I brought you home and had no idea how completely you’d change my life. You were there when I was trying to figure out my life and find myself. New York to LA, back to New York, then LA again, and now we’re back in New York. Four moves, so many apartments, so many cities, and you were just there through all of it. You gave me unconditional love during a time when I was figuring everything out. My 20s were a whirlwind but so much fun, and now I get to have you in my 30s. You’ve seen how much I’ve grown and I’m sure you’re happy to see the growth! My friends even know I don’t go anywhere without you. You’re always with me. I still think about 22 year old me getting a dog. Like what was I thinking? My friends were out living their lives and I had a puppy at home who needed me. But I wouldn’t change anything about it. You taught me responsibility so early on. It really does take a village, so shout out to all my friends and family who jumped in and helped me take care of you over the years. You’ve made me a better person, Chloe. You’ve shown me how to slow down and just enjoy life. The way you’ve loved me, so unconditionally, I’m just so grateful you’re mine. I don’t know what I’d do without you. You’ve been my baby, my best friend, and my home. We’ve lived so many lives together these last 10 years, and I hope we get 10 more. And 10 more after that. Forever, really. I love you so much.
