Directed by Thea Gajic, SURVIVING EARTH follows a Yugoslav refugee and gifted harmonica player rebuilding his life in Bristol. As he forms a vibrant Balkan band and begins to find a sense of belonging, the unresolved trauma of his past resurfaces, straining his relationships and threatening the fragile bond he shares with his daughter. It’s a story of resilience, identity, and the uneasy balance between healing and memory. SURVIVING EARTH is now in theatres across the UK.
