I created this 10 panel collage at the start of the year using 35mm photos I took while staying in Vidigal exactly one year ago, starting with the last photo first just to display more of the collaging element on the grid. I like playing with blending, sometimes of 2 different environments, other times of the same place but shot at different times/angles. It’s my way of altering reality (which I often escape) as a means of exploring magical realism ✧☽ Rio, I love you, see you in a few weeks ✿ also so much love to everyone who continues to make me feel welcome as a solo traveler, and to our shared experiences~it’s all so very special to me ♡ This app can overwhelm me so much that I hardly share flicks on the main from my frequent travels, but I’m feeling the urge to use this more as a public archive and not exclusively DJ related stuff, yuck.
