On Saturday April 11 we made history, bringing together Detroit techno innovators Underground Resistance with the LA house and techno underground for the first time ever. With the community's support we raised $5300 in donations to Exhibit 3000, UR's Techno Museum. These photos by Alex Martinez @stopalex_ capture the pulse of the night. A huge shoutout to Mad Mike, Mark Flash (@markflashofficial ), Atlantis (@corneliusdetroit ), and Esteban (@estebanadame ) for creating a transcendant live experience. With direct support from LA UR members Nomadico and Seldom Seen (@seldomseenoftenheard ) and songstress Estefanía (@emo.shakira ). Thank you to the DJs who shaped the music landscape of the night: DJ Noir (@downbydefault ), Naygod (@naygod ), Gay Felony @gayfelony ), B. Rod (@b_r.od ), Bloodhound (@9bloodhound9 ), The Black Lodge's Kosmik, and Hood Rave's BAE BAE. It took an entire community to make this event happen. On Friday June 26, Dirty Epic and INCOGNITO presents Detroit Techno legend STACEY PULLEN, plus BAE BAE and Nish. @staceypullen_official is the Kosmik Messenger and an innovator from the Second Wave of Detroit techno. He is the label boss at Blackflag Records, a label of abstract aesthetics– an outlet of free speech, thought and sound. Stacey’s goal is to hold no boundaries in his approach to music and its art-form. @baexploitation is a Los Angeles based DJ, producer and multidisciplinary artist. Her music selections center black femme independent artists. BAE BAE plays eclectically, deftly mixing ghetto house, techno, footwork, jungle, bass and more. Her mixes create a sensual, emotional, and spiritual experience.. Founder of Hood Rave which has become one of LA’s essential events. @justcallme.nish . is a DJ known for soulful, groove-driven sets rooted in intention and musical depth. Raised between Los Angeles and Boracay Island in the Philippines, her sound is shaped by a deep connection to global music culture and island influences.
