Becoming an entity that I would be pleased with when life is all over has been my biggest goal. I’ve accomplished plans that I’ve set but still have yet to master the art of appreciation. Appreciating my life & my freedom. The people in my life and the life I live as a whole. I have been working on my character & trying to improve the way I move in life, it’s hasn’t been easy but I’m seeing improvement. You can’t blame all your problems on the world, sometimes it’s a lil deeper than the surface. Please take time to reflect on where you are , how far you’ve come & take note of what you could improve on. You are the only person standing between yourself & happiness. 🦋 thank you @felaraymond for shooting me, this moment meant more to me than you ever know 👼🏿

I’ve been feeling like a different person lately, I look at things know in a way I never did before. Idk if I’m just getting older or what but I feel like I’m ready for a change in someway. I’ve been feeling like this for a minute so that was the idea behind this shoot, it’s like I’m an astronaut that just touched down on a new planet about to take over lol. Thx @thefunkship for seeing things I imagined haha , these are only a few from the project imma post the rest l8tr💘💘 🦋✨

I was recently featured in a piece by @paolamichelleod on the young people of New York. It really made me reflect on where I started and how far I’ve come. I ditched Texas & moved here with 2 bags of clothes, a few racks in my account and a bunch of emotional baggage with my goals in my pocket lololl. I’ve grown so much that I can laugh at the pain, and stay focused on what I came here to do. I’ve survived Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and Covid in New York. No matter what your past looks like; remember that you can still control your future. Don’t give up 👼🏿🕊

Thinking different, moving different, reacting different; expecting different. Letting go of patterns that only held me back, sending love & light to everyone, don’t let your past cloud your future. 👼🏿🌞💞🦄✨ @felaraymond 📸 @dior on my body, selenite ‘round my neck. 😈

🦋👼🏿As adults I think at some point you have to really do some introspective work & address the feelings, and traits of us that we’ve pushed to the shadows of our minds. Confronting the trauma & insecurities head on and releasing it really helps to get over it all. I realized I was holding onto things & making them apart of my story, my identity instead of like just thinking about it as something that happened and moving on, if that makes sense lol. I’ve been meditating + trying my best to drink and smoke less so that I can think with a clear head and make better decisions out of confidence instead of fear. U gotta let the bad vibes go so the good ones can find u haha 🧚🏿🌻 // shot by @felaraymond editing by @just.prolific 👨🏿‍💻
