Gaetano Pesce — The Chiat\Day Project
In 1994, Gaetano Pesce redefined the idea of office. For Chiat\Day in New York, he imagined an open, fluid and unconventional workspace, breaking away from standardization and fixed hierarchies. Demolished in 1998 and long undocumented, the project stands today as one of his most radical works.
The book brings together interviews, archives from @gaetano.pesce studio, sketches, technical drawings and photographs, a layered editorial structure where texts, images and documents coexist without hierarchy.
Conceived alongside the exhibition, the publication retraces the project’s genesis and legacy, offering a renewed reading of Pesce’s work across architecture, design and objects.

During Milan Design Week, Pandolfini Casa d’Aste, in collaboration with @galerie_mitterrand , hosts Giardino Alchemico, a solo exhibition by French artist @juliehamisky , curated by @ivanmietton .
Presented within Pandolfini’s Milanese spaces, the exhibition brings together a selection of works that reflect Hamisky’s distinctive approach to transformation. Through electroplating, organic elements such as leaves and branches are preserved at the threshold of their natural decay, becoming enduring sculptural forms.
In this process, fragile matter is not only captured but reinterpreted, as nature shifts into a new, lasting dimension.
Part of the official Fuorisalone program, Giardino Alchemico highlights the dialogue between Pandolfini Casa d’Aste and Galerie Mitterrand, bridging contemporary artistic research with the context of Milan Design Week.

During Milan Design Week, Pandolfini Casa d’Aste and @galerie_mitterrand present Giardino Alchemico, a solo exhibition by French artist @juliehamisky and curated by @ivanmietton .
The project unfolds as a refined dialogue between art, design and material experimentation, where Hamisky’s practice takes center stage. Through the technique of electroplating, the artist captures fragile organic elements — leaves, branches, natural forms — and transforms them into enduring sculptures, objects and jewels, suspended between transformation and permanence.
In this process, nature is not simply preserved, but reinterpreted: what is ephemeral becomes lasting, what is delicate acquires strength, opening a reflection on time, memory and materiality.
Part of the official Fuorisalone program, Giardino Alchemico reflects the shared vision of Pandolfini Casa d’Aste and Galerie Mitterrand in fostering meaningful connections between artistic research, design culture and an increasingly international audience.
