That’s a WRAP on LA and Principal Photography for ‘Astray’. Words can’t properly describe my thanks for every single person involved in this happening. This film was a big ask for people who helped to believe in me and the vision and join in on this adventure.
In all I do and want to continue to do going forward, is wanting to push myself and those around me. I don’t want to just ride a creative plateau, I don’t want to grow stagnant, I want to challenge myself to get better as a Director, as a filmmaker and as a creative in general. You don’t do that by playing it safe and taking easy options to get things done, I get there is nuance here but I just wanna be great and want to push those around me to be great as well, and to get there you gotta be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
I could keep ranting about this but I’ll leave it at a big massive THANK YOU. If you helped with gear, with rental, with locations, with advising, with volunteering your time, your opinions or your damn hard work. I appreciate you and I see you. 🙏🏻🎥

One year ago, March 16th, 2024, I got to marry you.
While life was crazy before our wedding… in an amazing way it has only gotten crazier. The journey we took getting everything together for the wedding was something special. So so so much work and preparation… and even though it rained on our special day it came out beautiful and perfect. Truly, a day to remember for the rest of our lives.
And now, one year later. What a trip. We certainly crossed 30 hours in the car over the 4 days (couple hours of tight knuckling some snow driving included). We became “acquainted” with real wolves. Boarded a train through a gorge and had an awesome meal with a view. Even stayed in a room that was WAY nicer than expected. What a crazy adventure this was.
Happy 1 year anniversary Megan. I love you so much, and here is to many more years to come. 🥂 ❤️

May 20, 2022. The day she said yes. It's been a wild four and a half years with my beautiful person. We've come a long ways from the time I broke my only rule to never date a coworker, but here we are today. It's you. I could never imagine myself taking on life with anybody else but you. I couldn't begin to picture going through life's toughest challenges, growing, and learning with anybody else. You make me a better person and I know we make a great team together. I can't wait to see what life has in store for us. I can't wait to have you by my side supporting me and to be by your side supporting you for it. I can't wait to spend forever with you.
