Published. I am ecstatic to announce I am officially published. And not only officially published for my first time, but I am also the COVER OF DSM MAGAZINE!!! I’m so excited to see where this takes me, and I am so ready for all opportunities and all the amazing people I will get to meet at the same time. Last night at the unveiling party I was amazed with all the people in attendance. The time came and I was called to stage to unveil the cover and I was AMAZED. I hadn’t seen the cover yet, nor any photos from the shoot. @beaster1 works wonders. Overall, I am overjoyed with the amazing opportunity that was given by @elevencherrysalon . Early this Dec. I was honored of being flown out to NYC and being a guest speaker at the Maestro Cares Foundation Gala. The gala was sold out, and I had the amazing opportunity of telling my story in-front of 650 individuals, including @gloriaestefan and @emilioestefanjr . @marcanthony , @cesarsway , @arianadebose , and my favorite Latin artist @jbalvin … It was my pleasure of walking down the red carpet with Jose Luis, fashion designer and founder of Refuge of Art based in New York. And has worked as a fashion designer for; Oscar de la renta, Michael Kors, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs, Theory, Target, Hugo boss, New balance, and Champion. Spending an evening together has granted me a great friendship, and memories to come as we were both honored as guest speakers at the event. As latinos on separate journeys but with the same goal, Jose Luis and I stand and fight for representation in our communities. “To help inspire future generations achieve their dreams”. We bleed for our origins and want to see our beautiful people succeed and go after their dreams. When I was younger I always looked for a mentor of the same ethnicity and now as an adult I fully understand the impact that it has on younger generations. To see someone who “looks just like me” strengthens and encourages many and I’m tired of not seeing latinos rise. So while I fight and push to break what is stereotypical of a Latino. I’d appreciate all your support. For my success is also yours. I dedicate my first red carpet to the future generations of latinos that support my journey and say “I can do it too”. Real talk: you will be going shopping, there’s no way to avoid it. From what I have noticed usually when traveling to Asia you are given a checked in bag upon booking your ticket. It it very important that you don’t fill that bag. Put your carry in inside your checked bag and fill that up. Try to pack as minimally as you can cause YOU WILL BE GOING SHOPPING. Thank you 2025, and hello 2026✨ . This year God has blessed me with so many beautiful opportunities. He’s provided me with rest when I needed it the most and he provided in ways I never expected him too. This year hurt a lot, but God moved and helped me when the days were dark and skies were gloomy.
