Expression Through Art

I was a mere preteen when I started to use music as a form of expression. I had so many emotions and feelings that I didn’t know what to do with and I didn’t know how to accurately communicate my emotions. But I connected with music and naturally began to use music as my outlet… I began singing in elementary school and still continue to sing. Since then I have developed a love for story telling. Story telling through performing, acting, and modeling. Every song has a story, just like every photo does too… and being able to capture the vision, the emotions, and the mood is art.
Art is about telling a story and allows freedom to create and truly express oneself.

2022 gave me so many amazing opportunities that I could never have imagined ever living. But one thing that was constant was that those opportunities didn’t just come to me, I looked for them. I opened up and truly chased them… Things don’t just happen on accident, they happen to those who truly shape their life to make it happen. People who step out in boldness and let the world know who they are and what they stand for-those are the people that truly chase their dreams. People that aren’t afraid of what others think of them. People that step out against what is seen as normal. People that don’t let the criticism of other affect the way they live their life.

If you guys have been following me this year, you have seen my introduction of my “New Era.” This version of me boldly strides towards her goals and ambitions. I might look like I’m killing it, but I’m not gonna lie… this has been so scary!!! But it has also been one of the most rewarding years of my life.
.
Like many, I become paralyzed with fear. I get scared and I don’t want to do something because of the possibility of it going all wrong. And while this temporarily holds me back, I’ve made myself promise to never regret trying something. For I’d much rather live knowing that I tried than to have never tried at all.
.
This year God has only made my purpose clearer. And although it won’t be an easy journey, I’m determined to stay strong for all the people I will one day impact.
.
Goal 1: GET MY NURSING DEGREE. I’m over half way through my nursing program. After I get my degree I will work in the E.R to become proficient. I then will return back to school to get the title of Nurse Practitioner.
Goal 2: Modeling. You guys have seen me start this journey this year, and I while I learn more and more about the trade. I am in awe of the skill, creativity, and all the people needed to make an image come alive.
Goal 3: MAO… iykyk 😉
.
So while I take bold steps towards my goals and dreams, I encourage you to do the same. And I hope I can be someone to encourage you to keep pushing past the hurt.
