Por primera vez presentamos esta nueva performance audiovisual en formato live set, trabajando en tiempo real con
@touchdesigner y
@ableton
Vengo desarrollando e iterando este sistema generativo en
@touchdesigner desde hace un año, y hace 4 meses comencé a adaptarlo para hacerlo audioreactivo y presentarlo en vivo en esta ocasión especial.
Itti presentó una actuación improvisada, reconstruyendo el sonido en tiempo real mientras transitaba con fluidez entre el techno hipnótico y grooves inspirados en el footwork, todo sobre una base de ritmos a medio tiempo a 170 BPM.
Estamos super agradecidos por haber tenido esta experiencia y que se esten generando estos espacios de intercambio cultural entre Japon y Argentina atraves del arte.

IttiとMUTEK ARの会場 Artlab にて披露したパフォーマンス映像です。
この新たなオーディオビジュアル・パフォーマンスをライブで発表するのは今回が初めてで、TouchDesignerとAbletonを用いて、全てリアルタイムで構築・演出を行いました。
私はこのジェネレーティブ・システムをTouchDesigner上で1年間かけて開発し、今回の特別な公演に向けて、約4ヶ月前からオーディオリアクティブ仕様に改良し、ライブパフォーマンスでの運用に最適化してきました。
Ittiは170BPMのハーフステップを軸にしながら、ヒプノティック・テクノとフットワークにインスパイアされたグルーヴを行き来し、その場でサウンドを即興的に再構築するライブセットを披露しました。
このような貴重な体験をさせていただいたこと、そして日本とアルゼンチンの間で文化交流ができたことに心から感謝しています。MUTEK JP、そしてMUTEK ARの皆さまに、深くお礼申し上げます。

I’ve been developing and iterating this generative system in TouchDesigner for a year, and about four months ago I began adapting it to make it audio-reactive and perform it live for this special occasion.
Itti delivered an improvised performance, reconstructing the sound in real time while fluidly moving between hypnotic techno and footwork-inspired grooves, all built upon a halftime rhythm at 170 BPM.
We’re deeply grateful for this experience and for the creation of spaces that foster cultural exchange between Japan and Argentina through art.
