yesterday was so beautiful, i was invited to come and speak about my experiences when my mum had breast cancer. it was emotional but i’ve honestly wanted to be able to publicly speak about it, to help encourage others. there is always help and Look Good Feel Better and Bold is Beautiful are just some of the charities/causes that support people going through cancer 🫂
the fact i didn’t even realise it existed until my mum passed shows that we aren’t speaking about it enough, so hopefully this post is the word of mouth to pass the word along, ESPECIALLY in the Black community, there is NO shame around your diagnosis and there are people who are willing to help IF you let them! 🥹
