KEEP TE KĀHUI FLYING BOOSTED CAMPAIGN
We’ve teamed up with @boosted.nz to raise $5000. From August 29th you can directly support the continued impact of Te Kāhui Creative Writing by donating to our Boosted Campaign.
Te Kahui Creative Writing is a by-rangatahi-for-rangatahi kaupapa that equips the next generation of Aotearoa’s storytellers with the skills, space and support to realise their creative voice. Currently, it is the only Arts in Corrections program offered across the country that aims explicitly to work with rangatahi in adult Corrections facilities.
Te Kāhui has not been immune to the increased precariousness of creative sector funding that continues to grind down not-for-profit organisations across this government’s term. While we have all taken pay cuts and scaled down our programming to mitigate the impact of this funding climate on our kaupapa, we need community support to do justice for the work we do for rangatahi in Corrections.

been doing a lot of the same things this year — rewatching videos of my lil baby nephew learn to walk (plus the one of him learning how to use a vacuum cleaner, it’s a solid 12/10 overall but his performance is more like 7.2/10 😭 he skipped tons of spots) obvsli can’t show u video proof but the review is on point
I’ve shared many wonderful moments with the team at @te_kaahui and am beyond stoked to work with people who inspire me so deeply 🫶🏾 u can’t see how happy I was in this pic cause I had to wake up mad early, like 8:30am, but it was all sunshine in me heart
but I’ve also had an amazing time mentoring some emerging artists. none of them rlly need me but its been great nonetheless. @lilystivenmusic is one of them… big talent, big heart, big drive 😤 she’s just released a song we worked on together. ((u kno where to find it)) stay glued to her profile ~ and if nothing crazy happens in the next couple of years then I’ll buy u a thousand mangoes
somewhere in south london around this time last yr two dudes climbed a couple of roofs and shot a lil video. procrastination + life boxed the guy in front of the cam but the one behind it is made of steel and that's how we finally managed to get this one out. big up to Jack Whelan for doing all the work. he's the best. and to Thomas for the beat.
