Introducing our Autumn Artist in Residence — Mollie Nelson-Williams of @itsourtable
Through food, storytelling, and shared space, Mollie’s work reimagines the way we gather, creating thoughtful experiences that celebrate connection as much as what’s on the plate.
We’re honoured to be a small part of the community Our Table is creating 💛
We ate well this week.
In the name of the season, we set out to find Melbourne’s best hot cross buns, following the scent of spice, citrus, and warm ovens across the city.
Some were generous, some quietly nostalgic, some surprising in all the right ways.
A small ritual, thoughtfully made.
A good reason to gather.
Here’s what we found.
This is gonna be fun.
We are very excited to be popping up at @hopestradio on Sunday April 26 for our very first Cook Book Swap!
Tickets on sale now via the link in bio.
Join us for an afternoon of food-forward conversations and new exchanges. Come hungry, bring your all-time-favourite cook book ready to meet its new owner, and stay for the pockets of gold that ensue.
Not quite a dinner, not quite a party, but a gathering that feels just as fun as it is tender.
Expect nourishing autumnal plates, a library’s worth of well-loved cook books, a selection of @hopestradio ‘s finest seasons wines and brews, with a dj set or two 👀
We’re ready to have fun.
See you soon.
A meeting of minds, philosophy, and a shared love for exploration

Supper Hike
Sunday February 15th
Tickets on sale now
Supper Hike is a seasonal gathering designed to deepen our relationship with place; a slow unfolding of movement, story, and shared nourishment. An invitation to walk, listen, and gather, this experience explores connection, conservation, and collective healing through the simple act of coming together.
The evening begins on foot, guided by Wurundjeri knowledge holders through the Yaluk Langa gardens, offering space to learn from the land and its living history — the native culture, plants, and ecologies that shape this place.
As dusk settles, we come to the table. A shared meal crafted by @itsourtable and @heidekitchen draws directly from the surrounding landscape, featuring native ingredients and produce harvested from the Heide gardens. The flavours tell a story of where we are, honouring the ground beneath us and the season that holds us.
A shared moment led by place, presence, and the rhythms of the land.
Tickets are limited, and can be reserved via the link in our bio.
We cannot wait to gather soon.
Supper Hike returns next month with @itsourtable and @heidekitchen
Join us in a sensory exploration of plants and place. A Wurundjeri-led wander along the Birrarung will enrich your understanding of indigenous vegetation, and our shared meal crafted from native ingredients and produce from the Heide gardens will showcase the flavours of the land on which we gather.
An opportunity to connect more deeply with one another and the living world around us.
Tickets on sale now for what is sure to be a magical Sunday afternoon ✨
a glimpse into our final dinner of 2025 with @lumenpeople
SENTI was all things summer; warm embraces, tender conversations, intentional stillness, and joyful curiosity. To celebrate a year of growth, expansion, and becoming with a table filled with brave, open-minded guests was the most aligned and timely conclusion to 2025.
Thank you for choosing to show up for yourself. There will always be a seat for you here.
We can’t wait to dine with you again soon 🤍
a celebration of the tables and moments we’ve shared together in 2025
I stepped into the year with no expectation as to how we would gather. Of course I had dreams, of telling stories and sharing the food of some of my long time local food idols. But allowed myself to be molded by conversations, new connections, observations, learnings, and discoveries. The tables we set in 2025 were some of my most memorable, daring, and needed. In moments filled with growing pains, discomfort, and unknown, it was a grounding, HUMAN, experience to show up to a table of strangers, knowing that no matter what sat on my shoulders, or spun within my head, I would be met with warmth and care by those sitting beside me. No judgment. Simply a human understanding.
Every month, I was met with an opportunity to comment on and observe the seasons in motion. Working with some of Melbourne’s finest creatives, we celebrated intentionality. Leaning in to newness, and creating spaces that championed curiosity.
I am proud to have grown with and alongside Our Table this year; creating and attracting a community of brave individuals, who aren’t afraid to show up EXACTLY as they are.
Here’s to the year ahead. Filled with saying YES to challenges, trusting gut instincts, and embracing experiences that will pop in your mind in 40 years time while you’re washing dishes in your kitchen sink, looking out the window smiling to yourself, thinking “oh boy, that was fun”.
this is your reminder;
we are a direct reflection of what and who we choose to be surrounded by.
every conversation, every playlist, every meal, painting, car-route-home, trip, meeting, and relationship is a mirror to who we choose to be, who we are, and who we have the potential to become.
sometimes we forget that it is a choice, our choice.
our choice to be brave, express deeply, connect vulnerably, speak authentically, dance freely, and create daringly.
and everything around us has the power to heal, and elevate, if we let it.
for those that choose community, we have a seat for you at our table for dinner this Sunday December 14th | SENTI with @lumenpeople
whether you’re looking to connect, heal, or try something new, together we can dine differently.
tickets via the link in our bio.
In just under two weeks, we set the table for SENTI; A communal dining experience, narrated by the notions of summer.
Next Sunday December 14, we will come together with the wonderful @lumenpeople to lead you through a dinner laid bare — an invitation to listen intently, connect deeply, and dine differently.
You may have wondered, what does Senti mean?
In Italian, senti means 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣. It is an expression of hearing, of feeling. Which is exactly the provocation we intend to offer as we gather for one final meal of 2025.
What is the hum that has vibrated through the year that was? How did you go in to the year feeling, and what emotions will you take in to the year ahead? What shape has your personal narrative taken this year? Are there parallels between yours and the people around you?
Senti is an invitation to show up exactly as you are. Tender and open. Ready to enquire and be curious, as we trust in the unifying gift of a shared meal to bring us closer.
There are a few seats left, which can be reserved via the link in our bio.
We cannot wait to meet you.
