When I discovered
@procreate for illustration it was like opening Pandora’s box. I had a lot of fun experimenting with different brushes and layering techniques but I also realized multiple times I was going about it all wrong 😅 I gave up more times than I can count but ultimately the final straw was having a daughter of my own and realizing I wanted to be somebody who finishes things they start. So that’s what I did! I’m still no pro, but I wound up finding the look for
@when.the.lights.go.out.book that our readers and I both love!
In case you’re curious, I go with the water brush in complimentary purple and orange for the background and the technical pen over the top in varying layers and opacities for the book’s many wonderful Halloween themed characters and scenery.
