@utavy We dug to the ground. PF headwall. This might be a little bit of a deeper snowpack than most expect. And maybe it is a zone that gets a lot of snow… but that’s cause I ski typically nail it and ski where it’s deep. Saw a mega crown up high in stairs that must have released mid morning after our first SW lap.
Thankful to every ski coach back in the day that taught me how to hop turn. Really been coming in handy lately 😈
@jacksonschor and I went up Broads today and saw his vision of the North Face Broads Fork Twin through. The line Managed to go clean without getting the rope out or skis off. One real spicy crux, and many committing hopturns later we made it into the NW couloir. One of the bolder skis of my life and I’m glad Jackson asked me along.
