Give me the Bird.
If the only areas you avoid are comfort zones, The Bird is for you. The extras here aren’t champagne yurts and golden toilets, they’re overhead powder turns, heli laps and extra hot sauce on you cheesy fries.
Get a pass for what really matters. The mountain. There is just over 1 week left before the 2025-26 season pass prices increase.
In too deep? Never. Give me the Bird.
Closing Weekend was one for the books
Thank you to everyone who calls this place home, from our incredible employees to our season pass holders and first time-skiers. You are what makes this place special. Don’t be strangers this summer. #HAGS #GMTB
While some Moms are celebrating their final ski days on hill, others are sending off the season, 10 floors up, with a decadent Mother’s Day Brunch at The Aerie. Happy Mother’s day to all mom’s whether it’s choosing flapjacks or Tram laps.
Closing weekend, here we come!
The Tram, Peruvian, Little Cloud and Mineral Basin will be running from 8am-2pm this weekend, conditions permitting. There will be NO beginner or intermediate terrain available. Things are getting thin down low folks, prepare to walk your skis in some areas as not all trails are continuous. Taking the Tram back down from the upper mountain is a good alternative if that’s not your kind of adventure.
Let’s send this season off in style, ripping the slush and dancing on the deck. #GMTB
Keeping it rolling 🤘
Snowbird will be open for skiing and riding May 1-3 AND May 9-10 from 8am-2pm.
Come get the last turns of the season and jam at the Plazapalooza concerts each day from 12-3pm.
This weekend, expect The Aerial Tram, Peruvian Express, Mineral Basin and Little Cloud chairlifts to be open, conditions permitting. Closing weekend lifts and terrain are TBD.
Spring Operations Update:
After Sunday, April 26, The Bird transitions to weekends-only skiing/riding. We’ll be closed midweek next week, then reopening Friday-Sunday (May 1–3).
This shift is intentional. Closing midweek will hopefully allow our mountain operations teams to preserve the snowpack, reset surfaces and prepare terrain so we can keep conditions as strong as possible heading into each weekend. The goal: extend quality spring skiing as long as we can.
We’ll keep things rolling on weekends with snow, sun and Plazapalooza, jamming to live tunes on the Plaza Deck from Noon - 3 pm (with Mitokandrea playing this Friday, 1 - 4 pm).
After May 3, we’ll reevaluate snow and weather to determine if it’s time to set that closing date or keep this party rolling.
See you this weekend, 8 am - 2 pm. #GMTB
