NWSL: The Final Third is out now! I spent four crazy months making this series for @espnoriginals .
Thank you to all the incredible people that helped bring this to life but particularly, Marie Margolius @wordsandpicturesprod for the unwavering trust and @vizibelle for being my other half.
Thank you to the players, coaches and families that let me into your lives and locker rooms! A privilege, always.
What a time.
My final piece for NBC’s 2026 Olympic Winter Games coverage muses on the psychological pressure of being an elite athlete.
Dreaming, trying… falling short, succeeding… heartbreak, elation. The rollercoaster of life.
Thank you to everyone at @nbcsports for the creative freedom and thank you to editor Derek Kuchman and PA Sydney Sloan for helping bring this one to life.
Glimpses Between Us is a new photo-essay series celebrating extraordinary people in my orbit and capturing their humanity.
Christina McHale has spent most of her life on a tennis court - Grand Slams, the Olympics - yet what stands out most is her grounded, graceful presence.

I’ve always been fascinated by the gap between how people are seen and how they actually feel. That messy in-between space is where the best stories live.
Over the past few months, I’ve been writing about these ideas on Substack. ‘Between Us’ is a home for the thoughts I can’t shake and the conversations I keep having about connection, purpose, and identity.
It’s reflective, raw, and written very irregularly.
It’s also a foundation for bigger projects to come, because I’m increasingly adamant that I want to own my work, my tone, and my creative vision.
If you feel so inclined, you can subscribe to ‘Between Us’ via the link in my bio.
And if you have thoughts, I always want to hear ‘em.
Don’t even know what to write about all this. I was part of a brilliant team at @nbcsports that won an Emmy Award for our Paris Olympics coverage. So I hosted an intimate, silly, ‘Brooklyn Black-tie’ party on my rooftop to celebrate this achievement which is a big and bizarre moment for this little girl from Ballarat.
I wanted to say it’s beyond my wildest dreams, but it’s actually not because I’ve always had insanely big ones. And I genuinely feel like I’m only just getting started. Because of this, I struggle to stop and acknowledge my progress. In fact, I often downplay my career and my talent. But I am good at what I do and I love what I do!
So thank you to all the wonderful people in my life that (lovingly) forced me to mark the occasion. I like celebrating others, not myself, so this was uncomfortable but nice.
I put my heart and soul into every story I tell. Because I fucking love people. I care so much and hopefully that shows. Coming for the Oscars next!!!!
My friend @darcyspiller always dreamt of being a recording artist. When she was 15 she had her first day in a studio, recording an original song she wrote. That song happened to be about me. And I happened to be there with a camcorder, obviously.
I dove into the archives and edited this from that special day, to celebrate our friendship, before standing by her side as she got married recently.
