Most brands aren’t losing because of bad content. They’re losing because they hired the wrong person for the wrong job. A content creator gives you execution. A storyteller gives you direction. And direction is what decides whether your content moves people…or just moves. The brands winning right now aren’t posting more. They’re not spending more on production. They’re saying something that hits different. That’s not a trend. That’s not luck. That’s storytelling. And it’s a skill most content strategies are completely skipping. → If you’ve ever posted something you were proud of and watched it flatline…this is why. → Save this. Come back to it when you’re wondering why the numbers aren’t moving. ↓ Drop a 🎯 in the comments if you’ve felt this.

Relax 😭 I went to @serenity.zen in West Covina! Got one of the best massages I’ve had in a minute: back, feet, the whole reset. At some point I’m just laying there like… “Okay yeah… I get it now.” Tension gone. Movement smoother. Pull-ups felt lighter after. I’m not saying I like feet… …but I definitely respect the process now 😂 What actually makes a massage elite?

Relax. I went to @jesseboyeats 😭 Korean fried chicken, sliders, cauliflower, tenders… I blacked out for a second. At some point I realized: “Oh… THIS is what people mean when food is addictive.” Crispy. Saucy. Dangerous. I’m not saying it’s crack… …but if you go once, you’re probably going back 😆 Be honest… what makes food ‘addictive’ to you?

Full circle moment ⭕️… Back in Autumn 2020, I had -$2.86 in my account. I remember waking up with anxiety in my chest after seeing that Chase notification. That kind of stress hits different. Around that time, I was reading The 4-Hour Work Week by @timferriss (shoutout to @kevinjosephgrossmann — still owe you that book 😅). There was a section about hiring a Virtual Assistant to delegate tasks. I didn’t need help running a business… I needed help finding one. So I hired a VA to build me a list of CEOs and founders. No gatekeepers. No middle management. Just direct. I started emailing them. One of those emails reached @wanderlusttom7 — who connected me to his agency, @wearesapphire1 (co-founded with @itsanishd ). That moment… That email… That’s how I got into UGC without even knowing what UGC was. — 4 years later… I meet @_quyenngo while supporting our friend @hoa2fitness . We start talking, I tell her this exact story, and she goes: “Wait… I know him.” “I’m friends with him. I gotta tell him about you.” — 7 months later… I get a DM. “Are you free for @wanderlusttom7 ’s 10-year celebration?” That was this event. First time meeting @wanderlusttom7 and @itsanishd in person. And I’m standing there thinking… All of this came from one email. — Truly grateful. Someone once told me: “It’s the little pictures that make up the big picture.” I’ve never forgotten that. And now I’m seeing it in real time 😌🙏 — Shoutout to @jeeerh_ & @paulo.manlapaz for taking these fire ass photos! 📸😆

@ugcwith_emily_ asked me how I come up with ad connections so fast with products. Don’t start with the product. Start with behavior. Example we were using today: How do you get someone to switch from soda to water? Everyone knows water is healthier. But that’s not the problem. The problem is habit. People drink soda because it’s: • stimulating • flavorful • rewarding • convenient So telling someone: “Drink more water.” Almost never works. The real marketing question becomes: What job is soda doing for someone? Once you understand the job… You can create the bridge. Maybe it’s sparkling water. Maybe it’s electrolytes. Maybe it’s flavored hydration. Good marketing doesn’t force behavior change. It guides people from what they do now to what’s better. 📌 Save this: The best ad ideas come from understanding behavior, not features.

Wellness ad tip: Most “7-day challenge” supplement ads feel fake. Not because the product doesn’t work, but because the story doesn’t feel real. The 7-day format actually works. But most brands execute it like a highlight reel instead of a real experience. And buyers can feel that immediately. Here’s what makes a 7-day wellness ad believable: 1️⃣ Day-by-Day Specifics Generic summaries break trust. “Day 1 felt great.” “By Day 7 I had more energy.” That feels scripted. Instead show moments: • “Day 2 I still crashed at 3pm but didn’t need coffee.” • “Day 4 I noticed I didn’t crash after lunch.” Specific moments feel lived-in. Vague summaries feel like marketing. 2️⃣ Include Objections Real people hesitate. So if your story has zero doubt… it feels like an ad. Say things like: • “I didn’t think this would work.” • “I almost quit on Day 3.” • “I thought it was placebo.” Objections build credibility. 3️⃣ Honest Downsides This is where trust is built. Maybe it’s: • The taste isn’t amazing • It took a few days to kick in • It’s not instant Perfection kills believability. 📌 Save this framework: Specificity builds trust. The more detailed the story feels… the less it feels like marketing. If your wellness ads feel polished but underperforming, your storytelling probably needs more reality. DM “SPRINT” and I’ll send you the hook test plan. #WellnessMarketingStrategy #SupplementAds #UGCForWellness #DirectResponseCreative #HealthBrandGrowth Be honest… What makes a wellness ad feel fake to you?

Wellness marketing truth: Nobody buys “clean ingredients.” High-converting supplement ads sell outcomes, not label claims. “Clean ingredients.” “Non-GMO.” “No artificial sweeteners.” Those are features. Features don’t convert. Outcomes do. Here’s the translation most wellness brands miss: “Clean ingredients” → No afternoon crash. “Non-GMO” → Doesn’t wreck your stomach. “No artificial sweeteners” → No bloating after. Feel the difference? One is brand language. The other is buyer language. If your audience has to translate your ad in their head… You already lost attention. And remember: You’re not just competing with other supplement brands. You’re competing with: • Coffee • Convenience • Doing nothing Clarity wins that fight. 📌 Save this: Stop selling purity. Start selling outcomes. If your wellness ads feel polished but underperforming, your messaging likely needs a conversion rewrite. DM “SPRINT” and I’ll send you the hook and outcome test framework. #WellnessMarketingStrategy #SupplementAds #UGCForWellness #DirectResponseCreative #HealthBrandPositioning What’s your biggest messaging struggle?
