@londoncraftweek | Exhibition Preview
We’re proud to share a preview clip from Living Spirits, a specially commissioned short film created for our exhibition as part of London Craft Week 2025.
Blending documentary and experimental cinema, the film explores Bai ethnic handcraft as a form of embodied memory and spiritual continuity. Through symbolic objects, slow gestures, and intimate textures, it reflects on the deep relationship between the female body, traditional craft, and the land.
Created in close collaboration with Bai heritage craftswomen, Living Spirits reimagines craftsmanship as a living archive of feminine knowledge—a language of the body, passed down through hands and time.
