The London Marathon was 26.2 miles of love and pain. Had a goal in mind, didn’t hit it, but walked away with a PB and so many moments I was grateful to soak up despite being deep in the pain cave. Thanks to everyone who came out, called my name, and showed me love. It only took me 2 hours after the marathon to go from “never again” to “let’s run it back.” London is special. The people are special. That was so much fun. My first major and my second marathon. Definitely not my last. @alwaysinmotion__ @londonmarathon #london #londonmarathon #marathon #runner #run

Body sore. Heart and soul feeling the best it’s ever felt. 4 straight days on feet doing AIM’s first pop-up might not be the best idea for the body before a marathon. But I wouldn’t have changed a thing because it gave me the chance to see and connect with all of you. Multiple sold out colours. Hours and hours of chats. Alongside @nikerunning @banditrunning @maurten_official @runlimited.ldn @therunningroom and other leaders in the space during one of the biggest weekends in running. A dream come true for a 13 month old brand. All because of you. Thank you. #popup #community #londonmarathon #marathon #runner

Around a year ago, the only people who knew about AIM was me, my girlfriend and maybe even just @calumgoddard 😂 (I didn’t tell my parents until after we had a couple drops because I know my mum would freak out) Fast forward to today and @hoka_eu has @alwaysinmotion__ as the only other brand displayed in their Nowhere Store show room AND the AIM Sunnies were gifted to all to their VIP guests, some of which I was already following and didn’t realise (what’s up @bengreenie15 ) Kaitlyn always tells me that I don’t do a great job of enjoying the wins. So in taking in the moment, I’m pretty stoked about this. Thank you @hoka_eu for the opportunity to get involved 🗻🤝 @alwaysinmotion__ 📸: @its.saul.brown @hoka_eu #founder #hoka #explorepage #peakdistrict #trailrunning

Spent my 30th today hiking places I’ve never been, exploring country villages, cruising through the Peak District in a camper van with my love. Thank you for all the messages ❤️

Milan for one of the biggest eyewear expos in the world. Early mornings, late nights, meetings, learning a lot about the future of eyewear. Feeling inspired ❤️‍🔥 @alwaysinmotion__ #founder #research #sunglasses #AlwaysInMotion #milan

January was busy. Australia with family and friends, mum’s cooking, broken thongs, sunburn, marathon training, selling out almost every colour, and learning how to be present while still building. First trip home since launching AIM, and seeing it out in the wild, especially in my hometown, was pretty surreal. Caught up with mentors and other founders, lots of good conversations. One thing I’m learning: going full-time makes it easy to fill your day, but harder to choose well. Lately it’s felt a bit like placing thought-out bets, deciding where to put your time, money, and energy, not knowing if all of them will pay off. All part of the journey. I want to throw myself into the new stuff, but I’m realising the foundations, “the boring stuff”, are what actually give you room and confidence and to go bigger. Now writing this from Milan at a major sunglasses expo for some R&D. Pumped to learn and find ways to improve the AIM Sunnies. Next up: a Feb campaign shoot and a 2 x new colours dropping. More soon. @alwaysinmotion__ #founder #business #explore #runner #marathon

“Take risks to gain freedom.” I wrote this at one of the lowest points I’d had in years. I was living in London, far from some of my closest friends and family in Australia, working hard in a role that wasn’t clicking for me. I felt lost. I was putting a lot into it, but nothing seemed to move, and over time I felt a growing lack of purpose. That was harder than I expected. I’ve usually found meaning and connection in the things I commit myself to, whether through work, sport, relationships, or other parts of my life. Not feeling that for such a long stretch really shook me and made me see my belief in myself start to slip for the first time in a long time. I wrote this at the end of a therapy session. This was before AIM launched, when I was still finalising samples and figuring things out. There was plenty of uncertainty, but I knew I wanted to move toward a life with more intention. One where I could create, travel, and build things I genuinely cared about, alongside people and in places that inspired me. Fast forward to now and things feel different. I’m able to spend time back in Australia with friends and family while continuing to build the business. I’m heading into the year with more flexibility and more say over how I live and work. Looking back at where I was 13 months ago, I’m grateful I trusted that instinct to start. It hasn’t been easy, and it still isn’t. There are always new challenges, especially doing this solo and bootstrapped. But I’m so fcking happy building something I believe in, creating a product I was personally looking for, and being part of a community I care about. That moment reminded me to back myself again and keep going. I know the journey is only just beginning, but I’m grateful for where I am right now. If there’s something you’ve been sitting on for a while, maybe it’s time to give it a go. You don’t need everything figured out. Just start. All of this began by taking the risk. #founder #explore @alwaysinmotion__

The first 9 months of Always In Motion. - Shot our first campaign at 5am in 2°C - Sold out the first drop (faster than we expected) - Sold out again (even faster) - Signed a warehousing and shipping partner to keep up with demand and improve the experience for you - Thousands of pieces of community content created - Proud to see the brand show up in a range of environments (from the streets to salt lakes in Cyprus) - Shipped to 44 countries (& counting) - Presence at races across the spectrum, from World Marathon Majors to Backyard Ultras. - Appeared in On, Gymshark, and Saucony campaigns. - Launched our first brand collaboration with @rawdawgclub - Sold out our Berlin Marathon–inspired colourway in under 60 seconds - Created a short film set in NYC - Shot a campaign with a 500kg saltwater crocodile None of this happens without you. The people who believed in the brand, wore it, shared it, tagged it, and told their friends. Somewhere along the way, this also gave me the chance to step away from my full-time job and put everything into Always In Motion. If you’ve been thinking about starting something in 2026 — just start. You don’t need the perfect plan. I didn’t. You just need motion. Thank you for all the support and love. Happy New Year.
