today is a very bitter sweet day. Moses sold the beloved Bronco. I remember the first day I met Moses I thought to myself “a cute guy AND he drives a cute truck”.
I can’t believe how many tears I have shed over this truck in the past week but I think as much as it was about the Bronco itself it’s more what it represented to us. Our youthful love, full of incredible fun and adventure and also stress, always on the verge of breaking down but getting through it together.
The Bronco transported the canoe Moses used the day we got engaged, we drove away from our wedding in it, we moved into our first apartment together and since our porch was in the parking lot I always knew when Moses got home. Then moving to our new place, trips to Tofino, weekends up at Cultus, getting stuck in the sand when we drove on the beach, oh there are so many memories I could go on.
All in all what a blessing it is to have had a car with this many good emotions and times 🥹
Thankful for the little morning we had too driving to the beach on a Sunday day, grabbing a coffee and writing letters 💖 I am currently in the state of the last photo as I write this now, but it’ll be ok 🥲
another project off the needles. This Miu Top was so fun to make. It works up with 2x2 ribbing (I did it extra long and high tension) and then splits off into front and back panels. I was a little impatient seam the shoulders but still very happy with how this turned out. I also only blocked the top half so it would stay tight around the waist. @unibanuni #miutop

This year wasn’t the most exciting or dramatic. Moses and I didn’t hit big milestones or experience major life changes, but in the steadiness, the Lord was incredibly faithful. We found richness in relationships, in hosting, in travel for both work and pleasure, and in celebrating the milestones of people we love. To a quiet year, but a full one 🥂
