Human Made Bangkok Opening ❤️
Watching streetwear culture break into mainstream has been one of the coolest experiences these years. The Human Made team captured a perfect blend of nostalgia and playfulness with this launch, we had a wonderful dinner at Charmgang near chinatown, eating the best curry! Running into old friends, curry up and seeing the entire city line up for hours just to be part of this culture next day was surreal. Watched my first comedy show! Had brioche buns, cacio e pepe, lots of caviar with margarita pizza 🍕 good wine, the coolest company, it was a perfect night 🥰
Family is everything
小時候總是想往外跑，33歲我只想跑回家。多擁抱我爸爸.媽媽久一點。 不管出國多久他們都會在樓下送我跟我揮手。 我不再想自己體驗， 而哪都希望能帶著他們。
看他們對什麼都很興奮，很好奇，很像小孩子。世界就是個循環，以前他們牽著我的手去跳舞班，去新的學校，去美國。以前覺得我的爸媽像英雄什麼都不怕，現在才懂當我換學校走進任何新環境的時候，他們比我更緊張！我們搬去美國，他們早上照顧家庭，晚上在研讀英文，怕我們被欺負。
現在換我們帶爸媽，放下許久當父母親的包伏，重新體驗這世界😊
When i was a teenager all I wanted to do was run away, but now at 33 all i wanted to do is run home. Every time I leave home, they always come downstairs to send me off, and I always hug my mom and dad a little tighter than before.
I realized I no longer want to experience different countries myself, everywhere I go i always wish they could come along. They seem to be full of excitement every where they go now.
Life really is a full circle, they use to hold my hand walk in to new schools, new dance teams and to America. I used to think they were super heroes and they were never afraid. Older i get i realized when they held my hand to new places, they were more afraid than me.
When we moved to america, they would work all day take care of the family, and at night when we go to sleep they would be teaching themselves english cuz they didnt want to embarrass us.
Took my family to Tokyo for mommys birthday. I feel like they finally took the burden of being “parents” off and let us took care of them. It was a pretty full filling moment seeing them smile and enjoy 😊
As we’re closing out 2025, they’re just moments that are imprinted in my mind. Every year Paradise city throws the most extravagant, luxurious, coziest art night that even as an event planner I’m always in awe.
This year Paradise tapped artist Joel Mesler to bring his visually bright and uplifting artwork to Seoul.
I remember a particular painting Joanna’s mommy stood in front of called “ the world is yours”. They were the same exact words my first boss at Dior wrote to me when I resigned.
I remember that day leaving the safety net corporate world LVMH gave me, carrying that card from my boss feeling invincible and without a clue what my future would look like.
Good events are always short & sweet, but they live on with you for years. Every detail of who was there, what they were wearing, what music we danced to, are the little recollections we will always reminisce back to.
Thank you my dear friend @chunjoanna for always including Lou and I, thank you for breaking through the norm, translating art in to real life. Watching you provide a safe haven for artists is the coolest thing Ive seen anyone done!
