Send that email to the big brand you think will never see it. Ask for more than you think you deserve. Give them more than what they expect. Keep chasing the feeling. ——— LA Marathon shakeout run hosted with Vuori. Thank you, @vuoriclothing Code: Vuori.com/buildingpickleball

There’s a lot that Pickleball could learn from running. The Boston Marathon is an earned experience and with it comes some unique events. Brands have the opportunity to reach their dedicated industry consumers, many of which plan on returning for years to come or treat it as a one-off holy grail moment. While they’re there, they want to take in as many moments as they can to remember their achievement. Each brand should find a way to help the racers capture what it means to be there. #brandmarketing #contentmarketing #running

Currently Running vs Vuori. One brand is an industry native to running while the other sits in lifestyle performance apparel. One you pay for scarcity and brand—the other for tenure and scale. I’m drawn to the color and fit of the @currentlyrunningapparel jacket yet the price and brand of @vuoriclothing also feels right. #running #runningfashion #streetwear #mensfashion

Contradicting my assumptions about travel. Traveling with others, guided tours, places I’d go, people I’d go with, etc. All proven otherwise in this trip. Never thought I’d go back to Italy after having been when I was younger with my dad and step mom’s side of the family. Budapest wasn’t on my travel wishlist. Ended up on a trip with my good friend and his 2 sisters, one of which I’d never met, and the other I had only briefly hung out with before. To be around people who have 0 ties to your life back home. No gossip. Not talking about your interests: no upcoming races, training, PRs. Complete disconnection from your other life. You guys are just living in the moment. All these assumptions where I was basically playing it safe. And it was this trip that turned out to be one of my favorites. And now I’m telling myself I’ll never travel alone again. The company you keep over the destination you’re headed to. I’m so grateful that I even have the privilege to travel. This is one of those trips that makes you want to spend more of your life traveling. “All love, must leave, but search for it I will.” Post trip depression would be an understatement.

“Famously, Michael Phelps’ coach, Bob Bowman, would cue Michael’s visualizations with the phrase “put in the tape.” - The Visualization Handbook If you could train like an elite athlete, would you? This video (and upcoming series) was inspired by Ken Jee’s book, The Visualization Handbook. Ken is the host of @exponentialathlete podcast, where he explores the science-backed strategies used by elite performers. The research and statements in this video belong to Ken and his work. #olympic #athlete #sports #reels #explore

Project: Adidas x Rebecca Johnstone Rebecca gave me the opportunity to help bring this project of hers with Adidas to life. The intent was to showcase the adizero evo SL in a real and authentic way through a day-in-the-life lens as Rebecca trains for her very first showing at the Boston Marathon. #running #run #runner
