In a few weeks, I am going to be joining my very good friend @quinstagram92 and his father in law Damian in the running section of this unbelievable @peak2palace_ challenge to raise £25k+ for @sarcoma_uk
This will see Henry and Damo:
⛰ Climb Mont Blanc (4,808m ascent)
🚴♂️ Cycle 875km through France (with 4,112m of climbing)
🚣♂️ Row 145km across the Channel
🏃♂️ Run 145km to Buckingham Palace (with 699m of ascent)
Peak 2 Palace is in memory of Henry’s father, the late and great Andrew Quinlan who sadly passed away from Sarcoma, an extremely rare type of cancer that is difficult to diagnose and very hard to treat.
My mum also has Sarcoma. She was incredibly lucky to get an early diagnosis which was due to a chance encounter linked to an infection. However, last April she was told it had spread to her lungs, there was no cure and the average life expectancy in her case was 12-18 months. She has defied the odds for now and is still live and kicking, but the cancer has continued to move to other parts of the body as we head further down a winding road of chemo and surgeries until there’s nothing more that can be done.
I’ll be running the 145km across 3 days for my mum, my mate Henry and in memory of his dad Andrew, but importantly to help us raise the much needed money to fund vital research, offer support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaign for better treatments.
Please donate to our page using the link in my bio and help us reach the target.
Congratulations to the big boss Nines on a wonderful career. A sad day in music and truly the end of an era for one of the greatest to ever do it. A sold out o2 arena and the most Top 5 albums of any UK rapper is a hell of a way to bow out. Quit While You’re Ahead.
Independent Record Company Of The Year at the MBW A&R Awards 2023. What an honour to work with the most amazing team, on the artists we love every single day. @egadistro 🌎
