As we reflected on the past 5 years, we thought about how we felt during each one. We’ve felt so many different things throughout each year but we were able to identify an overall pillar for each one. Wanting to express that through motion, we took those emotions and connected them to the body. We partnered with @age.co_ to hand select each muse and align them to an anatomical expression, each person embodied them so beautifully and we couldn’t be more grateful. We then brought our vision to @joonyly who took it a step further layering in stunning graphic details like the medical code for each anatomy and the longitude and latitude of Dorchester - where we built this business, the place we felt these emotions the deepest. We’ve grown and changed so much but at the root, it’s always been about telling stories of the Human Experience. This time we’re sharing ours. We created a visual reflection of the past 5 years of CTD. This BTS dump captures a project built from instinct, collaboration, and heart - an AGE.CO x CTD moment created to honor how far we’ve come, and the energy that keeps us moving forward. Grateful for the crew and talent that poured intention into every frame - from direction to styling to storytelling we created true harmony. Together we translated emotion into motion. The making of Sea Charm Directors statement: I have always known that creating from the heart is where I need to be. Since I was a teenager, I dreamt of becoming a filmmaker, and now, as I live out that dream, this film has become a deeply personal part of my healing journey. My childhood best friend and I both experienced the profound loss of loved ones around the same time. As we navigated the process of making this film, we truly felt their presence guiding us, like spirit guides illuminating our path. This project is more than just a film; it is a testament to love, loss, and the unseen forces that shape our lives. We hope that when you watch it, you can feel that presence too. See you tonight! An ode to Langston Hughes, “Death of an Old Seaman”  We buried him high on the windy hill, But his soul went out to sea. I know, for I heard, when all was still, His sea-soul say to me: Put no tombstone at my head, For here I do not make my bed. Strew no flowers on my grave, I’ve gone back to the wind and wave. Do not, do not weep for me, For I am happy with my sea. Scroll to hear the sounds of our film:   The sound design of our film was naturally preserved by CTD Productions. In these clips, we invite you to listen - no music, just the symphony of the sea: the waves kissing the boat, gulls chirping, bells echoing from the lighthouse, beach crickets calling, and so many more. In our decision to create a short silent film, we understood that the sounds of the sea would become a language of their own. Inspired by Langston Hughes’ poem—which, in our interpretation, tells us our ancestors have returned to the water—we let the sea carry their voices. In our film, we chose to let our ancestors speak. We’re thrilled to announce the world premiere of our first-ever short film “Sea Charm” at this year’s @roxfilm ! Location: Museum of Fine Arts, Boston *Harry and Mildred Remis Auditorium (Auditorium 161) Date: Friday, June 20th Time: 5:30pm - 7:15pm *Screening as part of the Shorts: Journeys program Tickets in our bio. Our film is a silent memorial piece, honoring the lives and legacies of Dale Bick Carlson, Marvin Olds, Langston Hughes, and many more ancestors. Drawing inspiration from Hughes’ poem “Death of an Old Seaman,” we follow a man adrift at sea, wrestling with the grief of losing his father while searching for meaning and direction. Set to a jazz score, the film channels the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance and Hughes’ signature jazz-poetic style, weaving together history, loss, and the rhythmic soul of the sea. This will be our first public screening for this short film, and it means the world to share this moment with our community. If you’re in Boston, we’d love to see you there and celebrate this journey together. OOFOS “OOMy Zen” Collection campaign We took this one to the @oofos headquarters and shot a variety of videos including a mini doc featuring the designers behind the vision and some creative social campaign videos featuring multiple ASMR videos giving that Zen Like appeal. The process of creating films is pretty cool ✹ BTS of Producing the Pink Solutions by Gigi commercial - a local entertainment law firm launched in February! Check her out @esq.gigi BTS Shots by @jaeelb : 1. Gigi and I agreeing on the beauty shot of her pink desk scene 2. Came up with the idea to do a slogan that needed to be trademarked - Gigi actually had an idea already cooking up for her business so it aligned perfect. I drew up the vision of how I wanted the shot to be. 3. Matt and Chaney executed on that slogan shot! 4. Gigi and I texting each other updates everyday - the studying process was fun to say the least 5. Classic photo of Chaney and I concerned over our baby being raised in the air lol 6. Art direction notes for each scene on Milanote 7. Gigi spray painted everythingggg 8. This is what each turnover looked like - changing out each color light and themed desk 9.
