The love in the room, the energy, the intention… it was felt. And on top of that, it was our birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it. Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, poured into us, and believed in what we’re building. Thank you to those who donated and couldn’t make it. You’re just as much a part of this. And to everyone who sent good energy, kind words, or birthday wishes… I felt you too. This is just the beginning. NYC, we’re coming. 🗽✨

💗🌸Meet the CoffēAddict🌸💗 ✨INTRODUCING: Anna ✨ Hihi I’m Anna & this is my third season w Coffē House!! 🙀ྀིྀི💗 Every season has met me in such a different stage of my life, both personally & in my dance journey & it’s been so healing to see how each one brings out a new version of myself. I’m excited to keep learning, growing & exploring all the different parts of who I am & who I’m becoming!!! I started w studio dance in ballet, tap & jazz back in elementary school & later discovered K‑Pop, which led me to join a K‑Pop/Asian‑inspired dance team in college. It wasn’t until after graduating & officially moving to MN that I began exploring hip hop & other styles. Following this season’s theme, dance has truly become a form of healing & medicine for me. Over these past few weeks with my lovely CoffēAddictz friends, I’ve been reminded to return to my “why” & ground myself in my love for movement instead of chasing perfection. To appreciate both the highs & lows of my dance journey & to let go & be fully present in the moment. I left my dream/passion on the side. I’m being taken classes since late of 2024. Learning new moves, building my textures again. Since then, I’ve kept taking classes and training in different dance styles. 💗🌸Meet the CoffēAddict🌸💗 ✨INTRODUCING: Bee ✨ I have been moving since I was young but dance has come to the forefront of my life only within recent years. With my time at The Rose Academy, I started getting in the studio as a burlesque performer and wanted to expand. Hip-hop & dancing in general have always been important to me but I’ve been anxious there’s not a place for me to exist in it. I am finding my footing in different genres of dance, and I hope to become a multi-faceted mover whose style encompassing everything I am and more. What I’ve learned from this season of coffehouse is that I have found a new sense of being deeply determined to figure things out one way or another. I think last year I was ready to give up when I didn’t perfect something, but I see beauty in the repetition that leads to the outcome. It’s been so much fun practicing in front of my kids, seeing them pick up the dances, and just be that one girl out of the movie scene where she’s doing her choreo on the sidewalk mindlessly. The only formal training I’ve ever received was at SPCPA and TU Dance for a brief period of my time in high school. One thing I’ve taken away from this experience is exactly the theme of this season being that dance is Medicine. my body feels happy to be moving. My day has more purpose and meaning.
