Industrial Light & Magic Senior Generalist Artist Steffen Hampel (@stfvfx ) shares a personal project inspired by Fallout.
Built in Autodesk 3ds Max and rendered with V-Ray, the project shows what a single talented artist can achieve with the right tools. Environments are assembled using ForestPack to handle large-scale scattering.

ForestPack 9.4.0 and RailClone 7.3.0 are now available with support for 3ds Max 2027. Although primarily a compatibility release, we also added a couple of extra handy improvements:
• ForestLister now supports ForestIvy, ForestSet and ForestLOD objects, with improved stability.
• RailClone now has more exportable parameters, and macro parameters are now grouped by category.
