🎥 Blending Storytelling and Immersion: A Unique Virtual Tour
In collaboration with Cirrus Software, we developed a unique onboarding solution for Cineworld - a fully interactive 3D virtual tour designed to streamline the induction process for new staff.
Set in a fictional cinema, the tour allows users to explore interconnected rooms, access detailed info spots, and gain insights into various aspects of working at Cineworld.
This project required us to think creatively about interactive digital experiences. By crafting a fictional cinema world and blending 3D design with immersive storytelling, we pushed the boundaries of how we can engage users.

At The Ruby Cube, we have an extensive library of 3D plants, but for this project, we needed something more specific. The design called for a Prunus serrula (Tibetan Cherry), so we created a bespoke 3D model to capture its distinctive coppery-brown, glossy bark.
By creating this from scratch, we were able to introduce the subtle tonal shifts, surface variation and reflective qualities that make this species so recognisable - details that truly come into their own when viewed up close.
Because it’s these micro-details that:
• Add depth and realism
• Create visual focus
• Elevate a good image into something memorable
Details that aren’t always obvious at first glance, but when we zoom in, that’s where the story really begins.

Where Architecture Meets Landscape - A Hybrid Vision of an Iconic Cultural Landmark 🏛️🏞️
This project was another fantastic collaboration with Rosebank Landscapes. A fusion of architectural precision and immersive landscape storytelling, London’s Royal Opera House was reimagined through a hybrid visualisation approach.
By combining detailed 3D modelling with advanced planting and environmental rendering, The Ruby Cube team recreated the iconic Paul Hamlyn Hall, capturing both its historic iron-and-glass structure and the surrounding spatial context.
The entire space was modelled from photography, enabling unrestricted camera angles and complete creative flexibility.
The result? A seamless blend of architecture and landscape disciplines, delivering atmosphere, depth, and realism that brings one of London’s most recognisable cultural spaces to life.
