First of all, the caption is on the last slide😌
Figured I should release these photos from the prison of my drafts, amen?!😂
Second! It always is a pleasure styling my choir @thefranchisechurch
How are you feeling about our look?!
Sometime ago, in the midst of what felt like confusion, the Lord said to me “you’re seeing too much”. And by that he meant, you’re looking too much at the present circumstance, the physical situation. You’re running an analysis on each event and letting plain, overt sight lead you.
For believers, we are not called to a life of taking in the ephemeral. Especially not as a compass to place against the word and revealed will of God.
The examples are littered all over scripture.. Abraham. Mary, David🥺, Joseph etc. The physical circumstance may not align, but it doesn’t mean that God’s word has changed. That is why Colossians 3:1-2 admonishes to “set your heart on things which are above”.
This scripture, particularly refers to where our affections lie.
So two things.
First, do not be so taken by/infatuated with the passing things of this world, your heart must consistently be fixated on what is above.
Two, when running with a word from God, and really for all matters of life, close your eyes to the physical circumstance. Let what is above and He who is above, lead you.
You have all my love.
Btw, follow @asweworshipglobal for updates on our next meeting.

As We Worship.
I spent my birthday doing the thing I love the most; gazing upon Jesus. One thing that He promised us as we prayed towards this meeting was that we would SEE Him, and see Him we did.
To behold Him always, is the point of everything.
Gracious gracious God, thank you ❤️
+Thank you to my friends and family who showed up for me in no small way. God bless you ❤️
Love is me saving these photos from last Sunday, so I could use them to invite you to church this Sunday 🤭🤏🏼
Just kidding! This is true love— not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins🕺🏼
Love Festival @thefranchisechurch wraps us tomorrow and we have the fiery Rev @christiebature with us 🥳🥳
I’d love to see you there! Send me a dm if you’d love to come and we’ll make it happen xx
#lovefestival❤️
This is love. Not that we loved, but that He loved us first. Every show of affection is simply a response to His overwhelming love. He is the initiator, the pioneer of our faith.
Now most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though some persons might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
To love is to first know Him who is love 🥹
