In this world there is pain, hurt and various things that cause us grief— God is telling us that even in the midst of that there is blessedness because we can rely on Him for comfort.

It is to wield power without undue harshness. Importantly, it is to rely on the Lord.

It is to realize one’s own insufficiency and rely on the Lord to fill and supplement you with all that He is.
So Blessed are you when you are meek, for you shall inherit (obtain by right) the earth 🔥
