Intro time 🌱🙃
Hi! this is us. En and Adam. We moved to Willow, the most westward hamlet of Woodstock, back in 2020. The Catskill mountains had made its soul imprint on us both, for years prior, when we frequented the area for birthday getaways back when I was a waldorf school teacher and Adam taught music production in New York City.
If I had to describe our evolution since we moved upstate, I’d say look anywhere in nature—there are seasons and cycles of growth, destruction, rest, renewal, blossoming, composting… lots of composting.
Fast forward to now four years later, whenever anyone asks why we love living here, our answer revolves around healing our bodies and creative inspiration.
There is an overwhelming amount of vital creative energy in various pockets of local and new community all throughout. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that there is enough room for rest and quiet here~that an individual’s inner stirrings has a place to flourish. There is no shortage of originality, vision, playfulness—and the most beautiful part to me, are the gathering spaces that are emerging.

sharing food with new friends is a beautiful way to create connection;
so many of us are starved of community, and that includes places where our contribution (beyond monetary) is valued
jamming with strangers is hard lol. in all seriousness, the jams sessions were exactly what we intended; experimental, communal, imperfect, to be experienced as it was, in that moment
it was so fun the pack the space, and to meet all the talented individuals that were willing to share their music and poetry, grateful for everyone that showed up 🥲

Adam and I often spend our evenings getting lost in creating soundscapes that don’t necessarily reach completion. it’s fun to imagine those tunes dissipating into the ether and maybe reaching some other dimension〰️🔊
if these images also make you drool, then we should talk. or rather, jam🎶—my favorite part of jam sessions is easily the aimlessness of it… how often do we invest our energy in something without the need for result! the experience of being in creative flow, of deepening into the fleeting momentary magic is truly truly medicine for the inner child

it feels like a summer of experimentation, play and abundance…there’s no leaping without some risk and unknown.
this past weekend was our first ever intimate concert and other than how special it felt to share space with new friends, it was impactful watching seasoned performers experiment with brand new mediums and share their processes with us.

The resonance was palpable.
The performances soooo gorgeous and turned into a funky group jam later at night that got everyone cackling.
